In this era of convenience and fast-paced lifestyles, relationships are turning into mere money relations, labor and hard work seem obsolete and moreover, real public service is fast becoming a thing of the past.

For more than 50 years, we, the women of the U.P. Sigma Beta Sorority (Los Banos Chapter) are constantly trying to bridge this social gap. We stand with a light that never goes out and flames that never cease burning.

Furthermore, we believe that every woman has a potential to uphold the values of truth, justice, courage, loyalty, self-discipline and equality; values are which to be used to promote friendship and cooperation among other women and students, lead in academic, social, political and economic endeavors and most of all, render service to the needy.

Remember, there are only two kinds of women. Those who, amidst the darkness, seek for the light and those who BRING FORTH THE LIGHT AND KEEP IT AFLAME.
