On Valentine’s Day of 1932, forty-six (46) young and intelligent women from the University of the Philippines-Diliman Campus founded the U.P. Sigma Beta Sorority. This exclusive fold is named the Summation of Brains and Beauty. Each member was carefully chosen and singled out from the throng. The cut above the rest female students are called out to fulfill the organization’s cause.

Indeed, the women of Sigma Beta are no ordinary. They are and will be a breed apart. The flame in the hearts of its members never ceases in burning, ensuring that the Sigma Beta legacy of excellence and passion lives on for the next fifty years of this grand sisterhood.
